Here’s a different take on the always lovely braided crown. It’s just as regal but has a cool beachy, summer vibe to it as well. Hair has plenty of volume and some loose waves. The color is a subtle ombre transitioning from a darker honey roots to golden tips. And for the crowning touch, twists emerging from a center part.
To get the look, part hair in the middle and style hair into mermaid waves. Then grab about a half inch section of hair from on side of the part and twist it until it’s almost tight and repeat on the other side. Secure the back with a barrette, invisible elastic, or even a braid. Or you can tie the two sides together and pull some hair over top. Whatever works best for the occasion and outfit.
