If you’re ready to say good-bye to summer, the fall and winter 2015 fashion shows are all done with. As always there are hot new trends to try as well as fashions that are more for art than everyday. On the runway, slick styles with crusty gel are back again but let them stay there.
We’ve waded through the fashion hair styles to identify some of the easy fall hair trends 2015 that you can try today. Some we’ve seen before but they are sticking around because they look great. Try these looks for back to school, back to work, or to go with your fresh fall wardrobe.
Deep Side Part
Changing up your part is the easiest way to get a new look. For fall 2015, go deep to one side – all the way the corner of the forehead. Get a boost of volume by parting hair opposite to your usual side.
Waves
The boho waves that have dominated this year’s hair trends are still going strong for fall and winter. It works with casual and formal looks and brings back memories of summer.
Messy Middle Part
A variation on waves, this cool look has attitude. It’s a version of 2015’s bedhead chic with a center part. If you don’t wake up looking like this, try flat ironing a few braided sections of hair and then let them loose.
Turtleneck Hair Tuck
This trend emerged in NYC last winter and back this fall. It’s exactly what it sounds like – hair tucked into a turtleneck. It’s an ultra cozy style that also gives you an instant faux bob. The hair tuck works with a scarf too, as has been spotted on the Olson twins.
Hair Color
Of course, what could be easier than changing up hair color for fall. From left to right, here are a few of the fall hair color trends for 2015. “Bronde” is the new brunette with honey highlights around the eyes, cheekbones, and neckline. Sombré, or subtle ombré, is subtle in color and delineation. Highlights are only a few shades lighter than hair and blend seamlessly with darker hair.
For all over color, copper is a bolder shade of red that goes perfectly with the changing of the leaves and pumpkin season. It’s not for everyone but looks best with blue or green eyes. Or for something darker, go chocolate, a deep brown with chestnut undertones
